Childs+Sulzmann advising on development sites in Monmouthshire

Childs+Sulzmann have been appointed through a competitive tendering process to advise Monmouthshire County Council on the redevelopment of redundant council owned sites across the county.

The three brownfield sites, which have come to the end of their life as council assets, are all in prime development locations. The local authority is now keen to attract residential investment into the area to increase the county’s housing stock within existing settlement areas.

Childs+Sulzmann Architects are exploring ways to maximise the development potential of the sites and are preparing designs for pre-application enquiries.

“These sites offer a unique opportunity for the local authority to bring new life to redundant sites, increase the housing stock and generate revenue for the county,” commented Matt Parsons, Childs+Sulzmann Director and head of the Cardiff office.
